Dreams rule our life

As the poet António Gedeão would say, the dream commands life. That's how Artevasi was born, from the dream of a young man of just 21, named Rodolfo Resende. The son, grandson and great-grandson of ceramics enthusiasts, our founder knew his vocation from an early age, swapping school holidays for the pleasure of work, and the beach for his grandparents' factory.

"I remember looking forward to the school holidays so I could finally go help my grandparents at the factory. I loved everything, from getting my hands dirty to the people I knew. Today, I still look back on those times with great nostalgia. I owe everything I am to them, especially my Grandpa."

Family legacy

With entrepreneurship in his blood, Rodolfo followed the family legacy and started Artevasi 19 years ago. Initially, he concentrated on producing plastic pots, but given the exponential growth of the project, he decided to take it to the next level, just like in the good old days.

Artevasi grew every day and began to explore production in other types of materials, such as handmade ceramics and terracotta, in line with respect for Nature and Heritage.

What are we made of?

Our mission

Artevasi's mission is to create with all kinds of materials and designs, for everyone, and always with the same respect. If we want to take Nature everywhere, we must give people all the necessary tools.

Our vision

Nature was made for all of us. We must democratise Nature and take it everywhere, even to the most inhospitable places on the planet.

Our values

Respect: this is the fundamental basis of everything we do. We have grown to respect everyone involved in this project, from our employees to our suppliers, artisans and clients. We can only support Nature if we respect its resources and the environment. As Artevasi, we always have respect in mind when we develop a product, choose a type of material, close a deal or place an order.
Curiosity: it's our starting point, and it's in our DNA. From 'How can we do things differently?' to 'How can we do things better?' or even 'How can we change the world?'
Boldness: once something has aroused our curiosity, it quickly becomes a reality. We're not afraid to try, test and learn in the process.
Proximity: it's human nature to work together. Everything we do is not just about a specific product or audience, but about all of us: an ecosystem between employees, suppliers, artisans and clients.
