Our story began with recycled plastic. This was Artevasi's first collection and the basis of our journey through the world of pots, which continues to be a symbol of innovation, quality and environmental commitment.
Plastic's durability, versatility and reusability allow us to explore different sizes, shapes, colours and finishes. In 2024, we obtained the certification that guarantees the integration of at least 65% or more recycled material in our plastic collection. We are only the second Portuguese company to achieve this distinction, so it means another green step in what we do best: create pots with a reduced environmental impact.
In producing our plastic pots, we valorise all our internal waste. Only 3% of production waste is sent to waste management operators, promoting the circular economy as much as possible.
Artesupply, created in 2020, is the group's purchasing centre dedicated to transforming recycled raw materials on a daily basis, either by transforming production surpluses or by purchasing waste for transformation. We always use production surpluses to be shredded and re-injected, helping reduce the environmental impact and saving on raw materials.
With Artesupply, we are more competitive in the market and meet our clients' expectations. This allows us to obtain better control over material stock and better treatment and refinement before they go into production to make our environmentally friendly pots. At Artevasi, we have complete internal control of the entire supply chain and its development, production, and logistics and identify and deal with risks.
